Msamaria helps homeless children which are unable to afford education to get education.
Msamaria has shelter with a capacity of accommodating up to 75 kids per time, the children age ranges from 2 to 20 years old.
Msamaria recruit trained social worker or other social science discipline to take an overall in -charge in social related tasks.
The Msamaria Centre for Street Children, a registered NGO in Tanzania, is a beacon of hope and support for street children, orphans, and families in need. Nestled in the scenic city of Moshi, at the base of the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro, the center is more than just a haven—it’s a transformative space.
With a capacity to house 100 children aged 2 to 20, Msamaria goes beyond mere shelter. Some of these youngsters attend boarding school, while others reunite with their families, albeit with continued support for those struggling with financial hardships. Many of these children were rescued from the harsh realities of street life, each with a unique tale of resilience.
Led by the compassionate guidance of Mr. Folkward Mapunda and dedicated volunteers, the center is a catalyst for positive change. The children, once trapped in challenging circumstances, are now on a journey to realizing their full potential, thanks to the nurturing environment provided at Msamaria.
Accommodation will be provide at volunteer House.
The minimum stay is two weeks. Due to visa regulations you can spend a maximum of two years as a volunteer in Tanzania.
