About
Bridge Pre and Primary School started in modest was as a Day Care Center in 2009. However by now it is fully registered by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training (reg no. L.01/7/E.A 016) for the pre primary school and reg no KL.01/7/016 for the primary school. English is used as medium of instruction for both pre and primary schools but follows the curriculum developed for all pre and primary schools of Tanzania.
Location
Bridge School is located in the Shanty Town area of Moshi Municipal Council on Shanty Town road just a few metres off Lema Road as you drive to the International School of Moshi.
Mission
The school mission is to inspire and guide the pupils so that they can learn to the best of their capacity and ability and also develop in them leadership characteristics. This mission will be achieved by carrying out the following;
- To motivate the pupils to learn all the subjects we teach to the best of their ability.
- To provide necessary teaching and learning facilities.
- To maintain a reasonable number of pupils per class and enough teaching staff.
- To take pupils on tours to important locations like national parks, factories etc.
- To provide computer room for ( ICT) for students and teachers access.
Vision
We see a very well managed school with excellent academic performance where pupils will be encouraged and supported to become future leaders of this country. Coming out of this school we also see change agents of our decaying moral standards and so in a way reducing poverty in our nation.
We shall attain this vision as:
- Qualified teaching staff will be provided
- Enough learning / teaching material will be made available
- Parents are fully involved in the education of their children
- The Board of Directors are all committed in bringing this to pass

Accommodation will be provide at volunteer House.
- Project length
The minimum stay is two weeks. Due to visa regulations you can spend a maximum of two years as a volunteer in Tanzania.
